The NWZ-B135 is the 2 GB step-up model in the entry-level B Series Network Walkman lineup. It retained the same simple direct-USB and ZAPPIN approach. It provides 2 GB of flash storage supporting MP3 and WMA playback along with an LCD display, direct USB transfer, ZAPPIN quick-search, and 18-hour lithium-ion battery.
This Walkman model belonged firmly to the "simple on purpose" side of Sony's Walkman history but with a little more breathing room than the smaller-capacity B133. This line was never about aspiration. It was about lowering the barrier to entry while still keeping the player recognizably Sony and easy to live with.
