The NWZ-B135F is an updated entry-level B Series Network Walkman with FM capabilities. It carries the direct-USB simplicity of the line into the next year. It offers 2 GB of storage for MP3 and WMA files along with an LCD display, FM radio with recording, direct USB connection, ZAPPIN quick-search, and 18-hour lithium-ion battery life.
This unit belonged to Sony's budget B Series at the point when the line had become almost aggressively straightforward. This was not a branch built around prestige or polish. It was built around simplicity: direct USB behavior, FM radio, low friction, and just enough storage to be useful without pretending to be special. The B Series showed Sony understanding that the Walkman did not always need to be framed as a premium object or a lifestyle statement.
