NW-E025F

The NW-E025F is the mid-capacity model in the ninth-generation E Series Network Walkman family. It emphasized the same interchangeable Style-Up Panel customization. With 2 GB of flash storage it supports MP3, WMA, and AAC playback along with FM radio, the detachable front panel system, direct USB transfer, and 30-hour lithium-ion battery life.

This unit kept the same tiny body, FM radio, color display, USB charging, and swappable styling panels while feeling just large enough to be practical without losing the "throw it in your pocket and forget it" appeal. The E025F reflected the point when Sony had become very good at making tiny Walkman that no longer felt compromised or half-finished. It belonged to the late mature phase of the compact E branch, where the product's strength came from how little friction it imposed.
