The NW-M505 is a mid-capacity model part of the M series. It has 16GB of internal storage and supports audio playback in MP3, WMA, ATRAC, Linear PCM, and AAC-LC formats. It features an OLED display, FM radio, voice recording, Bluetooth (aptX reception compatible), NFC, digital noise cancellation, direct connection via USB terminal, S-Master MX, ClearPhase, 5-band equalizer, Dynamic Normalizer, direct recording, and shuttle switch operation, and supports approximately 15 hours of playback with a lithium-ion battery.
