NWZ-B133

NWZ-B133

The NWZ-B133 is the basic 1 GB entry-level B Series Network Walkman. It emphasized direct USB simplicity and ZAPPIN quick-search. It features 1 GB of internal storage supporting MP3 and WMA files, an LCD display for track details, direct USB connection, ZAPPIN functionality, and an 18-hour lithium-ion battery.

This unit came from the period where Sony had fully accepted that the budget Walkman branch should feel almost frictionless. Direct USB transfer, compact size, and minimal interface complexity were the real point here, not prestige or feature density. The B133 was a player designed around convenience and low commitment, which made it feel very different from the more curated or software-defined Sony portable audio products that came before it.
