NW-S738F

The NW-S738F is the 8 GB noise-cancelling variant in the sixth-generation S Series Network Walkman lineup. It integrated the full set of generation-defining features. With 8 GB of internal storage it handled MP3, WMA, AAC, and WAV playback along with the 240x320 LCD, FM radio with recording, noise cancellation, video and photo capabilities, Clear Audio Technology, Omakase Channel, and 40-hour lithium-ion battery life.

This unit was a very balanced expression of the mature S73x family. The line had already figured itself out and this model benefited more from that stability than from any one individual feature. Sony was simply keeping a good idea alive without overcomplicating it.
