NWZ-A826

The NWZ-A826 is the overseas 4 GB model in the fourth-generation A Series successor family. It adopted the same Bluetooth and video/photo platform. The player offers 4 GB storage supporting MP3, WMA, AAC, and ATRAC files with 36-hour lithium-ion battery life alongside Bluetooth, video and photo playback.

This model was the globally branded counterpart to that same premium flash A generation. The A Series was finally behaving like a proper modern late-2000s flagship Walkman instead of a line still dragging around leftover SonicStage baggage. Bluetooth, video playback, and a polished interface made the player feel current in a way some earlier A models had struggled to achieve.
