D-EJ002

The D-EJ002 is part of the most stripped-back late portable CD players from 2005, built around the absolute basics of the format with two AA batteries, standard audio CDs plus CD-R and CD-RW support, and G-Protection for stable playback during ordinary movement. It included only Mega Bass, resume, a hold switch, and a simple top-mounted control layout.

By this stage, reduction was part of the point. The D-EJ002 was part of the part of the late market where some users still wanted exactly this kind of straightforward disc playback and very little else layered on top of it.
