WM-FX323

The WM-FX323 is a midrange radio Walkman that added auto-reverse playback to the same broad cassette-and-radio formula, combining FM/AM tuning, Mega Bass, and a practical plastic body in a machine clearly built for regular use instead of for technical novelty. The extra convenience of uninterrupted playback gave it a more complete feel than the lower FX models around it without changing the basic identity of the object.

This model is a very good example of late Sony product maturity. The FX323 does not need to do anything dramatic. It simply assembles the right features for someone who still uses both tapes and radio enough to want the process smoothed out.
