NWZ-S515

The NWZ-S515 is an overseas variant in the S Series Network Walkman range that added video and photo capabilities. It uses the same core platform as the domestic models but carries the NWZ designation. It offers 2 GB storage supporting MP3, WMA, AAC, and WAV files. A 240x320 TFT display, FM radio, WM-PORT, Clear Audio, DSEE, and 33-hour lithium-ion battery were included.

These overseas S models expanded the series into multimedia while keeping the active-use orientation. It was a lower-capacity S Series model from the point when that line had mostly stopped being "the sporty one" and started acting like a broadly useful mid-tier Walkman. By now, the S line was less about niche identity and more about being a comfortable middle ground in the range.
