First FM Recording
NWD-B103F

The NWD-B103F is an updated entry-level model in Sony's B Series flash-memory Network Walkman lineup. It added FM capabilities to the basic formula while keeping transfers simple. The player provides 1 GB of storage for MP3 and WMA files, FM radio with recording, direct USB connection, and an 18-hour lithium-ion battery.

These B Series variants remained Sony's most accessible flash Walkman, now with radio for greater on-the-go flexibility. It was a radio-equipped update to Sony's stripped-down B Series formula. The B line was still about affordability, direct transfer, and minimalism first. FM just made that minimalism a little more useful. It remained simple by design, just a little less bare.
