The NWD-B105F served as the higher-capacity FM-equipped model in the entry-level B Series Network Walkman family. It maintained the line's no-frills approach with added radio features. It features 2 GB of internal storage supporting MP3 and WMA playback, FM radio with recording, direct USB connectivity, and 18-hour lithium-ion battery life.
Positioned at the top of the basic B range in 2007, it offers extra space and radio within the simplest branch of the flash-memory lineup. It is the higher-capacity FM-equipped version of the same basic B Series platform, and probably the most complete expression of what that branch is trying to be. Not premium, not iconic, not heavily branded. Just straightforward, affordable digital playback with enough utility to justify carrying it.
