NWD-B103

The NWD-B103 is an entry-level model in Sony's B Series flash-memory Network Walkman lineup. It focused on straightforward, budget-oriented digital audio playback without extra features. It offers 1 GB of internal storage and supports MP3 and WMA files. Transfers happened via direct USB connection straight to a computer, while a lithium-ion battery delivers up to 18 hours of playback.

The beginning of Sony's budget B Series, and one of the clearest examples of the company deliberately stripping the Walkman down to its most basic modern function. This was not a line built around status or premium presentation. It was built around accessibility. It reflects the point when Sony understood that not every flash Walkman needed to be stylized or identity-driven.
