NW-S705F

The NW-S705F provides the mid-capacity noise-cancelling option in the fourth-generation S Series flash Walkman family. It carries forward the Clear Audio Technology that defined the generation. Featuring 2 GB of internal storage, it supports ATRAC3plus, MP3, WMA, and AAC playback. The color OLED display, voice/FM functions, noise cancellation, WM-PORT, and 45-hour lithium-ion battery stayed consistent.

The middle-capacity version of the same noise-cancelling S branch, and probably the model where that idea made the most sense in everyday terms. By this stage the S Series had become much more than a workout line. It is now trying to balance sound features, portability, battery life, and refinement.
