The NW-S205F/B is the highest-capacity FM-equipped model in the third-generation sports S Series Network Walkman family. It targeted users wanting more storage alongside fitness features. Offering 2 GB of internal flash memory, it supports MP3, WMA, AAC, and ATRAC3plus playback. A 1-line monochrome OLED display, G-sensor tracking, FM radio, direct USB connection, and 18-hour lithium-ion battery completed the set.

The highest-capacity FM-equipped model of the same fitness-oriented S generation, and the version where Sony pushed that concept as far as it could reasonably go. With more storage and the same active-use positioning, it felt like the complete version of the idea instead of just a niche experiment.
