The WM-F67 remains one of the more elusive Walkman designations from 1986, with collector references and secondary listings suggesting a radio-equipped cassette model but little surviving documentation to fully confirm its place or specifications. No widely circulated service manual or definitive technical sheet has surfaced in the same way as for better-known models, leaving the player unusually hard to pin down compared with surrounding radio Walkman models of the period.
The WM-F67 matters less for its hardware than for what its obscurity reveals. Sony's mid-1980s lineup had already become dense enough that some regional, transitional, or lightly distributed models now survive more as traces than as fully documented products. Gaps like that are part of the real Walkman story too.
