NWZ-S718F

The NWZ-S718F represented the flagship overseas capacity in the fifth-generation S Series Network Walkman lineup. It combined noise cancellation with the largest storage. Featuring 8 GB of internal memory for MP3, WMA, AAC, and WAV files, it uses a 240x320 TFT display, FM radio, WM-PORT, video and photo playback, Clear Audio, DSEE, noise cancellation, and 33-hour lithium-ion battery.

This model capped the overseas branch's fifth-generation offerings with the full set of card-style multimedia and audio refinements. It is the highest-capacity version of that more elevated noise-cancelling S family, and the strongest version of Sony's attempt to make the line feel richer without simply turning it into a cheaper A Series. It still feels recognizably like an S model, but one with more intent behind it.
