The NW-S784K is an eleventh-generation S Series model with 8 GB storage, MP3/WMA/AAC/WAV support, 77-hour lithium-ion battery, speaker output, video and photo playback, and Clear Phase.

The speaker K version of the S784 keeps that same late classic S platform and extends it into the usual accessory-led retail presentation. Sony was not trying to reinvent the branch anymore. It had already decided what the line was supposed to be.
