The NW-E307/B is a color variant of the sixth-generation Walkman Beans E Series. It features 1GB built-in storage for ATRAC and MP3 playback and offers up to 50 hours from a lithium-ion battery. Its bean-shaped body includes an FM radio tuner. It shared the same positioning between the E400/E500 family and the A Series in Sony's flash lineup.
A color variant of the Walkman Beans generation. What defined this player was the same curved, pebble-like body that pushed Sony's flash Walkman line further away from looking like a miniature computer accessory and closer to something built to be liked on sight. The Beans era was one of the clearest points where Sony's portable audio hardware became more casual and lifestyle-oriented in tone.
