NW-E307

NW-E307

The NW-E307 introduced the Walkman Beans design to the sixth-generation E Series. It provides 1GB built-in storage for ATRAC and MP3 playback and delivers up to 50 hours from a lithium-ion battery. The bean-shaped body includes an FM radio tuner. Known by the nickname "Walkman Beans," it sat between the earlier E400/E500 family and the A Series in Sony's flash lineup.

One of the clearest design-first E Series models and the version that most fully captures the Walkman Beans era. The curved, pebble-like body gave the line a much more playful and lifestyle-driven presence. The rechargeable battery, USB charging, FM support, and simplified compactness all pushed the player toward a more seamless everyday object. It stands as one of the strongest examples of the E Series learning how to be desirable, playful, and fully consumer-facing.
