The NW-E207 is an overseas branch of the sixth-generation E Series. It provides 1GB built-in storage for ATRAC and MP3 playback and delivers up to 50 hours from a lithium-ion battery. It includes an FM radio tuner. This model was derived from the E307 and E305 generation.
The higher-capacity overseas counterpart within the same generation. Even in regional form, it still belonged to the period where Sony's compact players were being designed as objects with personality instead of as neutral storage shells. It reflects the point when the E Series had moved well beyond its early "digital appliance" phase and into something much more self-conscious and consumer-facing.
