The NW-E205 is an overseas branch of the sixth-generation E Series. It offers 512MB built-in storage for ATRAC and MP3 playback and uses a lithium-ion battery for up to 50 hours. It includes an FM radio tuner. This model was derived from the E307 and E305 generation.
An overseas branch of the generation that would become known for the Walkman Beans design language, but in a more stripped regional form. It belonged to the phase where Sony was leaning harder into playful physical identity, rechargeable simplicity, and a more lifestyle-oriented flash Walkman. It sits on the edge of a broader shift without carrying the full personality of the domestic flagship versions.
