The WM-FX315 is a low-end radio Walkman that paired basic FM/AM tuning with cassette playback and Dolby B noise reduction inside a compact plastic body with belt clip and manual controls. It runs on two AA batteries and kept the overall machine simple, without auto-reverse or the more elaborate tuning and sound features found higher in the FX branch. The result was a radio-and-tape portable with very little excess.
