WM-FS400

WM-FS400

The WM-FS400 is another Sports-series radio Walkman built for outdoor use, combining FM/AM reception and Mega Bass in a rugged portable body with a fairly straightforward cassette and tuner layout. Compared with more feature-dense Sports models, it stayed simpler and more stripped, putting the emphasis on durability and basic radio-plus-tape portability instead of on timing functions or digital extras.

This is a Sports model built for someone who just wanted a tougher everyday Walkman instead of a gadget-heavy exercise tool. That distinction suggests. Not every Sports machine was trying to be futuristic. Some were simply trying to be dependable.
