The NWZ-X1061F provides a color option for the 32 GB premium X Series Network Walkman. It retained every high-end function of the lineup. It carries 32 GB storage for MP3, AAC-LC (non-DRM), WMA (non-DRM), and Linear PCM playback, with WQVGA OLED display, Li-Ion battery, touchscreen, Wi-Fi, noise cancellation, direct USB, WM-PORT, video/photo, S-Master, DSEE, OneSeg TV tuner, and web applications.

The FM-equipped X1061F is another variation of that same late X-series ambition. What makes it readable is not the extra tuner but the fact that Sony is still trying to make the X line feel like a complete personal audio object instead of just a flashy touchscreen shell.
