NWZ-X1060

The NWZ-X1060 was the 32 GB global version of Sony's premium X Series Network Walkman. It carried the full X feature set: WQVGA OLED display, touchscreen control, Wi-Fi, noise cancellation, direct USB, WM-PORT, video and photo playback, S-Master, DSEE, OneSeg TV, web apps, and support for MP3, AAC-LC, WMA, and Linear PCM playback. Battery life was rated at 33 hours for music and 9 hours for video.

This model gave the globally branded X Series its most complete form. It was a premium touchscreen Walkman built for a moment when portable music players were being pulled toward connected media devices. The X1060 kept Sony's dedicated-audio identity, but its screen, Wi-Fi, web functions, and video support pushed the line into a wider pocket media role.

It remains one of Sony's clearest late attempts to defend the Walkman as a high-end standalone object before smartphones fully absorbed that space.
