The NWZ-X1061 is the 32 GB variant of the premium X Series Network Walkman. It duplicated the advanced capabilities of the 1060 series. With 32 GB storage supporting MP3, AAC-LC (non-DRM), WMA (non-DRM), and Linear PCM files, it uses the WQVGA OLED display, 33/9-hour Li-Ion battery, touchscreen, Wi-Fi, noise cancellation, direct USB, WM-PORT, video/photo playback, S-Master amplifier, and DSEE, along with OneSeg TV and browser features.
The X1061 continues that same broader X-series role in regional form. The hardware's real importance does not change: this is still Sony trying to build a Walkman that could exist in a post-clickwheel, post-button-driven world without fully surrendering to the smartphone.
