NW-ZX900

Android Balanced Output Hi-Res
NW-ZX900

The NW-ZX900 is a 2026 ZX Series Walkman with 64 GB of storage and a 5-inch display. Following the NW-ZX707, it combines an aluminum main chassis with a gold-plated oxygen-free copper rear chassis. Sony carries selected WM1 components into the ZX line, including its low-noise regulator and crystal oscillators, while retaining a smaller screen than the new WM1 models.

Android, Wi-Fi and USB-C support downloaded music and streaming services. According to Sony, the updated S-Master HX adds look-ahead noise shaping, while the DSD Remastering Engine can now process streamed music as well as downloaded files.

Sony announced the model in the US on October 15, 2026, and in Japan on October 16. As of October 16, its Japanese launch is scheduled for November 27, 2026.
