WM-EX364

The WM-EX364 stayed close to the EX356 formula, using the same broad standing-body layout, auto-reverse transport, Dolby B noise reduction, AVLS, anti-rolling support, and manual tape selection in a compact plastic shell. Depending on market, it uses either Mega Bass or Groove for low-end enhancement, and it shipped with Fontopia in-ear headphones that tied it more directly to Sony's late-1990s portable ecosystem. It remained a conventional two-AA player instead of a slim-body premium design.

Compared with the EX356, this one is less of a different machine than a slightly refreshed presentation of the same mature idea. That has its own value. By 1997, Sony is often maintaining the cassette line through compact regional and presentation shifts instead of major technical departures, and the EX364 is a good example of that late-era cadence.
