The MZ-R410 is a basic model built around direct recording. It supports line and optical inputs, allowing recording from external sources, but it does not support USB transfer, making it primarily designed for real-time recording. Standard recording uses ATRAC Type-R, while long-duration recording uses MDLP. A microphone input is omitted, and a remote control is not included; all controls are integrated into the main unit.
