The MZ-N510 is an entry-level NetMD recorder that retains the direct recording functionality while also incorporating PC transfer capabilities. In addition to external recording via line input and optical digital input, USB transfer makes it easier to transfer audio sources from a PC. MDLP supports long recording times, and group and bookmark functions make it easier to organize longer recordings. ATRAC Type-S contributes to improved quality during compressed format playback. However, the microphone input is omitted, limiting the flexibility of audio recording. With its simplified remote control and single AA battery, this model prioritizes ease of use.
