The MZ-E610 was a playback-focused MDLP player that prioritized ease of use. It supported both standard and long-playback MiniDisc formats, and ATRAC Type-S improved the playback quality of compressed recordings. The 6-band equalizer allowed for fine-tuning of sound quality, and G-PROTECTION suppressed skipping. Charging was done via a stand, and the backlit remote control handled most of the operation. While the impression changes depending on the color, the basic hardware is the same.
