YP-ES11

The YP-ES11 is a close variant of the ES10, retaining the same lightweight youth-player format with Mega Bass, simple controls, and a compact plastic body meant for easy everyday carry. This model stayed intentionally basic, with little beyond what was necessary to keep cassette listening portable, branded, and attractive to a younger audience.

There is not much technical drama here, but there does not need to be. The ES11 helps document the point when Sony's cassette lineup had become socially segmented as much as mechanically segmented.
