NWZ-S545

The NWZ-S545 offers increased capacity in the 2009 S Series Network Walkman lineup. It continued the family's focus on video-capable flash players with enhanced audio tools. It features 16 GB storage for MP3, WMA, AAC, and WAV files, plus video and photo playback. The 240x320 TFT display, 42-hour lithium-ion battery, WM-PORT, FM radio with recording, speaker, Clear Audio, and DSEE defined its practical use.

The S545 is the fuller-capacity version of that same idea, and it makes the generation feel much more intentional. With the same bigger screen, speakers, and broader media role, this one no longer reads like a compact music player with a few extra tricks. It reads like Sony consciously broadening the definition of what a mid-tier Walkman could be.
