NWZ-E443K

The NWZ-E443K is the speaker-equipped variant within Sony's E Series Network Walkman lineup. It retained the series' multimedia focus while adding direct audio output. With 4 GB storage supporting MP3, AAC, and WMA playback plus video and photo viewing, it uses a 240x320 TFT display for all content. The lithium-ion battery offers 45 hours of music playback. Features includes FM radio, built-in speaker, and WM-PORT connectivity.

The K version takes that same E443 platform and nudges it toward a more casual all-in-one product. That only works because the underlying player was already very settled. Sony did not need to reinvent the E line here. It just needed to make it slightly easier to live with.
