The NWZ-E343 is a compact multimedia model in Sony's late 2009 E Series Network Walkman. It focused on video and photo alongside standard audio in a mid-range form. With 4 GB storage supporting MP3, WMA, AAC, and WAV playback, it includes video and photo functions. The E343 is part of the phase where Sony had fully stripped the E Series back into a very readable, very low-friction compact Walkman line. By here Sony seems much more comfortable with what the E line is actually good at: simplicity. The E343 feels light, direct, and free of the old managed digital ecosystem baggage. It is not trying to be a tiny flagship. It is trying to be easy to own.
