NWZ-A17

The NWZ-A17 is an A Series Network Walkman with 64 GB storage supporting MP3, WMA, AAC, FLAC, ALAC, AIFF, and Linear PCM files. A lithium-ion battery delivers up to 50 hours of use with digital noise cancellation and WM-PORT. This higher-capacity 8th-generation variant rounded out the A Series high-resolution offerings.

The A17 is the fullest-capacity version of that same globally branded modern A platform and one of the clearest examples of Sony's new compact Hi-Res Walkman identity settling into place. The player feels slim, disciplined, and much more deliberate than many of the older A-series generations that were still trying to be broader lifestyle gadgets. The A line had finally become narrower in purpose and better because of it.
