The NW-A855 is a Network Walkman part of the 6th generation A series. While inheriting the chassis design and accessory compatibility of the A840 series, it adds the "Automatic Channel" function. It has 16GB of internal storage and supports audio playback in ATRAC, MP3, WMA, and AAC formats. It supports video and photo playback and has an operating time of approximately 36 hours with a lithium-ion battery. This device employs a self-contained configuration that uses internal storage.
