D-F700

The D-F700 pushed the same tuner-equipped concept further by moving more of the interaction into increasingly capable remote hardware. It combined radio and CD playback in a body that stayed compact while making control feel more unified than on earlier hybrid models.

That shift reduced the need to think about how the machine is put together. The D-F700 is part of the point when even the more feature-heavy variations could still feel coherent instead of complicated. That kind of integration is what defines it.
