My First Sony Series

My First Sony was not simply a children's version of existing electronics. It was a deliberate design program built around the idea that a child's first encounter with technology should be intuitive, durable, and visually instructive. Sony approached these products with unusual seriousness. Size, color, transparency, and control layout were all used to make the devices easier to understand rather than merely easier to sell. That is why this series deserves more attention than it usually gets. The line reveals Sony thinking about education, industrial design, and brand formation at the same time. Clear housings exposed internal mechanisms. Functional parts were assigned strong, memorable colors. Basic operations were simplified without stripping the products of their identity as real Sony hardware. In that sense, My First Sony was not a novelty branch. It was one of the clearest statements of how the company believed technology could shape curiosity from the very beginning.
