A Walkman-inspired FLAC and MP3 player for PS Vita, with local libraries,
Jellyfin streaming, equalizer, Spectrum and Cassette views.

Install
1. Use a homebrew-enabled PCH-2000 with VitaShell.
2. Copy the included VPK to the Vita and open it in VitaShell to install.
3. Copy music to ux0:/data/PSVITAMAN/MUSIC/ or its subfolders.
4. Launch PSVITAMAN and allow the first scan to finish.
Keep existing app data when upgrading to retain preferences and your library.

Audio
FLAC: stereo 16-bit/44.1 kHz and 24-bit/88.2, 96 or 192 kHz input.
Output is 16-bit at 44.1 or 48 kHz, depending on the input profile.
Compatible FLAC tracks support gapless transitions.
MP3: MPEG-1 Layer III, 44.1 kHz, mono or stereo. MP3 transitions may have a gap.

Features
Browse Songs, Albums, Artists, Folders, Favorites, History and local playlists.
Use Play/Pause, Previous/Next, seek, shuffle, repeat and playback speed.
Eight EQ presets, Custom bands and saved PREAMP attenuation shape playback;
CLIP indicates clipping. Lyrics, artwork and dynamic backgrounds are supported.
Cassette offers 11 bodies and 10 label colors. Up/Down changes the body;
Left/Right changes the label color. Choices persist across launches.
Network connects to Jellyfin over HTTP on a trusted local network using Quick
Connect. See the User's Guide for setup and supported features.

Alpha limitations
PCH-1000 and PS TV support is not confirmed. Unsupported media may be rejected.
Rapid, repeated screen and artwork changes can still cause instability.
Keep backups of app data. Network quality and storage can affect playback.
Jellyfin movies, TV, photos, offline downloads, casting and administration are
outside this version's scope.

Remove credentials and private information before sharing logs.
