D-EJ2000

The D-EJ2000 sat at the top of Sony's final pure-CD Walkman range, with a slim magnesium body, charging stand, optical output, and a backlit jog remote that emphasized control and presentation. It is built as a complete object, where each element felt intentionally shaped instead of added.

That sense of completeness is what gives it its place. The D-EJ2000 is part of the late phase where the format had been refined to the point that the best examples no longer needed to prove anything beyond their own cohesion.
